CASE STUDY: EDUARD & MIA MIHAILA

WORK VISA

“On the 16th of October 2019, my phone beeps twice, I’ve got a message. Opening the screen: Immigration New Zealand newsletter tells me I have the opportunity to fulfil my dream to live and work in New Zealand and I believe it.

We contacted Migration Associates of the back of this email, this is a company that if you commit you realise how powerful and willing to help you they are, I started my migration endeavour.

My name is Eduard and with my wife Mia, we’ve put all of our effort to keep on the right trail, but this would have been pointless without the legal advice and the guidance of Migration Associates. I don’t want to point out the obvious but the help they gave us was under contractual basis.

Our first step was to attend “This is New Zealand“ seminar run by Migration Associates on the 27th of October in Guildford which is held to help people get a better insight into living and working in New Zealand. This seminar is co-hosted with New Zealand Skills in Demand a job placement company for migrants. The next step was contacting Nadine Sawma, and Ammar Yousef from New Zealand Skills In Demand that I met at the seminar aside from Borey Chum from Migration Associates. Skills in Demand would undertake the task to find work for me, best matched with my skills. In just two weeks, remarkable, I had the job interview and the contract was signed for my new job in Auckland.

Migration Associates lodged our visa application on the back of the job offer we received. They advised us that visa applications take between 44 and 84 days and so we waited. Guess what, in about 30 days, They called me on the 10th of February to give me the great news that me and my wife had been granted a 3 years’ work visa.

Now we are in NZ and our happiness has no limits, we are living in the best and most beautiful country in the whole world. I am writing this being in the first day of 4 weeks quarantine imposed by the government, covered by a solid work contract that gives me the peace of mind that my company have covered my weekly pay.

Wonderful people, welcoming work mates, super cosmopolitan thinking and attitude, fantastic weather, excellent food, clean tap water, highest level of technology, great communication skills, calm and optimistic attitude and unbeatable streets, roads, sidewalks and highways are all very convincing motivations to migrate to live and work in New Zealand.

My company’s moto is: Cool and Easy.

Dream fulfilled, desire accomplished, goal reached.

Good luck everybody. Thank you Migration Associates and New Zealand Skills in Demand”

Eduard & Mia.

“Eduard and Mia came to us and wanted to make the move as soon as they could. They took all the steps necessary to get across the pond - they attended our seminar, liaised with Skills in Demand and secured a job and provided all the documents we needed promptly. They are now enjoying his new life out in NZ.

Eduard and Mia were certain they wanted to make NZ their home, their determination and hard work paid off and they have made their dream come true with a little help our end.
