Job Overview

  • To provide medical services for the employer as per the duty roster

  • Focus on Anthroposophical Medicine & Functional Medicine

  • To provide stewardship of available health resources and oversee the management of the patient's wellbeing and safety, including, but not exclusive to, informed consent, medication reconciliation, appropriate follow-up of investigations and checking the age/gender appropriate screening status of individuals through prompt and optimal management and tracking of incoming reports

  • To maintain liaison and communication with patient's GP regarding patient management

  • To offer input into research projects investigating services offered or to be offered at the centre

A large private healthcare provider within New Zealand, that has Physician roles within General Practices and Urgent Care Clinics in the Hawkes Bay area that they are recruiting for.

Applicant Requirements

  • Advanced clinical knowledge

  • Minimum of 4 years' experience post-graduation Experience in Emergency Department, in a General Practice and/or an Urgent Care Clinic

  • Registration with the NZ Medical Council Legally entitled to work in NZ

  • Current APC / Medical Indemnity Insurance Current ACLS certificate

  • Excellent interpersonal skills

  • Excellent English written and communication skills
